First Dental Exam

We can’t wait to meet your little one! It’s important to bring your child to the dentist around their first birthday. This helps to establish a dental home. Somewhere where your child feels comfortable and safe, and somewhere you can call with any questions or for an emergency. Your little one may feel apprehensive about their first visit. This is completely normal. That’s why we schedule time to give you a tour around the office. We allow time for your child to play in our inviting reception area. We even have a designated toddler room that is more like a play room than a dentist office. In the toddler room your child can play while Dr. Kimi and Mommy discuss healthy habits and prevention. Once your child feels comfortable, they can climb on mommy’s lap, on a cozy couch for a check-up and cleaning. The most important thing to us is that your child has a positive experience, and we will take our time to make sure that happens.
